What better way to get into the spirit of the Autumn Festival than a 9-piece band playing along Kyneton’s historic Piper Street? Coinciding with the monthly Kyneton Farmers Market, the town will be absolutely pumping with energy and entertainment on Saturday 9 April.
The fantastic Ranges Events FUNKATEERS Street Band will be movin’ and groovin’ the crowds from 12-12.45pm, before heading down to the Kyneton Botanic Gardens to hit the stage for a free pop up park concert from 2-4pm.
About the Funkateers
A 9-piece Street Band will bring the party including a bouncing 3-piece Drum Section, booming Bass and five fabulous Horns. Not only do the Funkateers put the FUN in their show — but they present an opportunity for audiences of all ages to see instruments and hear music that they otherwise might not have been exposed to. From Horn-led Funk to Salsa, Calypso, Reggae and some Australian favourites there’s something for everyone!
The Funkateers are presented as part of the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival — with generous support of the Macedon Ranges Shire Council.
Then Join Them At The Botanic Gardens!
The Funkateers are playing a Park Pop-Up show at the Kyneton Botanic Gardens & Children’s Park from 2pm-4pm.
