Saturday, Apr 16 – Swingin’, Swayin’, Tastin’ & Loungin’ at Hedge Farm

Don’t miss out a truly unique experience this Easter.  Join us at Hedge Farm for a swingin’, singin’ and loung’in weekend and experience some of Macedon Ranges best local artists, producers, entertainment, food, wine, beer and gin (with a good measure of fun)! 

Macedon Ranges musicians will have you singing along and tapping your feet (supported by Ranges Events). Local artist, Julie Chandler, is showcasing her distinctive art in the Little Chapel Gallery. Big Tree Distillery is on board (with their Gin Bug) on the Gin Lawn for tastings of their award-winning gin.

Sing along and dance to the sounds of the Martini Set (Saturday) and the Bullfeather band (Sunday) in The Cotton Club Courtyard. 

AND

Sip away on your Big Tree Distillery gin cocktail and lounge the afternoon away on our Gin Lawn listening to duos – Casey Withoos & Jem Sherwill (Saturday) and Tim Francis & Jem Sherwill (Sunday). 

AND

Taste Macedon Range’s Big Tree Distillery’s award winning range of farm crafted small batch Australian gins in the gin lawn (with their Gin Bug and tasting team).

View Julie Chandler’s inspiring art work in our Little Chapel Gallery. Julie will be on-hand to chat and her art will be available for purchase on the day.

Purchase locally produced wines and beer from our bar menu in our Barn bar and gin cocktails from our Gin Lawn bar. Both open from noon to 6 pm

The Martini Set is a swinging troupe that will take you to the golden age of music with hits from Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin and a whole lot more.  Dance in the courtyard to the driving beat and crooning voice of Steven Howard & this Martini Set!

Casey (Macedon Ranges’ favorite voice) is back that Hedge Farm with her favorite picks of Standards from the last century.  Enjoy a fine gin cocktail from Big Tree Distillery while you lounge to the serene sounds of Casey and pianist Jem Sherwill.

Art Exhibition by Julie Chandler, an Australian contemporary artist living and working in Victoria’s beautiful Macedon Ranges. 

Julie creates distinctive works in acrylics, oils, graphite and charcoal. Specialising in portraiture, she creates thoughtful images that capture traces of the person beneath the surface. Julie is also available for commissioned works.
